Day 6: Nature trail and Museum ($25 per person, Machu Picchu)

Let our guide take you on a nature trail through the beautiful and lush tropical surroundings of Aguas Calientes. You will discover exotic orchids endemic to this region and will also come across many bird species, including hummingbirds. You end with a fantastic visit to the Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum which exhibits a collection of artifacts found during the excavations of Machu Picchu.
Day 6: Return to Machu Picchu ($75 per person, Machu Picchu)

Cherish this rare experience and revisit Machu Picchu in the early morning right when the gates open, making you the first visitor and beating the crowds who arrive later by train. You will have ample time to explore at your own pace and do a short hike to the Sun’s Gate lookout point for a postcard-like photograph of the ruins.

Day 8: Lunch with local family ($45 per person, Cusco)

You will be invited by a local family to their house for a cooking demonstration and a traditional meal in Cusco. After cooking you will seat to the table with the family and enjoy a meal together while you learn about their lives and stories of this old city.
Day 12: Quito city night tour with dinner ($99 per person, Quito)

Quito displays one of the largest collection of colonial buildings in the Americas and was the first city to be declared a Unesco's World Heritage Site. Enjoy the eclectic architecture ranging from modern neighborhoods to varied colonial facades on churches and private residences decorated with balconies. See the Cathedral of gothic style, Independence Square flanked by the Presidential and the Archbishop's palaces. Stop by at the Jesuit temple of baroque style and continue to the San Francisco Plaza where an old church and convent seat. Afterwards, enjoy dinner in a restaurant located in the historic downtown.
