Group Size & Tour Guides
World Spree tour guides are hand-picked, well-trained and service oriented. They are constantly evaluated based on the feedback from every single World Spree customer. We know the success of your trip largely depends on the quality of our tour guides; therefore, we strive to hire only the best.
For groups of 15 travelers or more, a tour guide will be assigned to travel with your group throughout your trip. Your tour guide will also act as your local guide in each city. We need a minimum of 15 travelers to guarantee the tour departure. Group size varies depending on the trip, seasonality, airline availability and special departure dates and events.
The quietvox headphone is provided to this specific tour program when the group size is 15 or more. This means that each tour participant will receive a lightweight, portable receiver that can be worn around the neck or slipped into a pocket to aid in hearing the tour guides. The quietvox headphone is designed for comfort and quality; allowing you and your fellow travelers the ability to easily hear your tour guide's instructions and stories.
Your final travel documents will be sent to you via email about two weeks prior to departure. This email will include a copy of your electronic air ticket receipt (e-ticket), the final tour itinerary, hotel and emergency contacts, and other important information for your trip.
Passport & Visa Requirements
Valid passport is required for all World Spree travelers (U.S. and Canadian Citizens) traveling abroad. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your trip return date. Your passport should have sufficient blank pages for visa stamp(s), per country you are visiting, amendment and endorsement pages cannot be used for visa stamping.
The following visa requirements are specific to U.S. and Canadian citizens. Citizens of other countries must check with the respective embassies and visa agencies to determine what travel visa and personal identifications are required. Travelers who enter, leave and re-enter the same country on their itinerary must check if they require a double-entry or multiple-entry visa.
It is the responsibility of every traveler to obtain and pay for all entry documents (visas, etc.) as required by the laws for each country on your itinerary.
Visa Requirement – Vietnam
Travelers to Vietnam must obtain a tourist visa prior to departure. U.S. citizens can apply for tourist E-Visa, or a conditioned Visa On Arrival (VOA) upon arrival at Vietnam's international airports. Neither of these two visa options requires you to physically present your passport for visa processing prior to arrival in Vietnam.
Vietnam E-Visa Application
Please visit here for more information to apply the Vietnam E-Visa.
Vietnam Visa On Arrival (VOA) is different from the VOA processing of other countries, it requires the passenger to obtain a "VOA Approval Letter" via a travel agency prior to boarding flight to Vietnam.
The Vietnam E-Visa is a straightforward procedure. The only concern is that even with E-Visa pre-arranged by yourself, you may still encounter the hassles of the Custom clearance procedure and possible long waiting lines at Vietnam Customs. For the convenience of our travelers, World Spree offers a VOA Assistance Service.
Visa On Arrival (VOA) Assistance Service
This service is exclusively for World Spree travelers who participate in our tour programs to Vietnam.
USD$70 per person charged by World Spree at time of tour booking (covering both Vietnam and Cambodia)
USD$25 per person (all nationalities) stamping fee payable at Vietnam Customs (applicable for tours to Vietnam)
USD$30 per person (all nationalities) stamping fee payable at Cambodia Customs (applicable for tours to Vietnam + Cambodia)
World Spree charges $70 per person to process:
- Your Vietnam “Visa On Arrival Approval Letter”, which you present to the related airline for your flight to Vietnam as well as to Vietnam Customs upon arrival, and
- Additional visa assistance service that helps you to expedite the visa and Customs clearance process upon your arrival in both Vietnam and Cambodia, where applicable. All you need to do is to look for an airport staff holding World Spree sign, who will greet you at the entrance of the Arrival Hall, then collect your visa stamp fees and visa photo, and direct you to a resting area while he/she is processing your VOA documents. Afterwards, he/she will walk you through the procedure of visa stamping and Customs clearance. The gratuities to the greeting staffs in both Vietnam and Cambodia, where applicable, is prepaid.
This assistance service is provided to address the hassles of e-visa holders when they clear the Vietnam Customs, as well as dealing with the complications of the VOA procedure. With the VOA Assistance Service, you will receive the Vietnam VOA Approval Letter along with other travel documents from World Spree prior to departure. You will be greeted and walked through the entire visa and Customs clearance process for both Vietnam and Cambodia (where applicable) arrival, and most importantly, you don't need to queue for long time, and fill in additional forms for visa and Customs clearance.
